1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a welcoming and supportive school environment.
This role involves working closely with a pupil who requires additional support to access learning, helping them remain engaged, confident, and included in the classroom.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
• Supporting the pupil both academically and emotionally
• Helping manage behaviour and encourage positive engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Supporting the pupil to access classroom activities

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, ADHD, or behavioural needs
• Patient, calm and supportive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Previous experience in a school, SEND or support setting is desirable
