1:1 Teaching assistant

We are currently recruiting a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming school in Bracknell.
This role involves working closely with a pupil who requires additional support to help them engage with learning and feel confident in the classroom environment.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
• Supporting the pupil with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Helping the pupil access the curriculum and school environment

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, ADHD, or behavioural needs (desirable)
• Patient, calm and supportive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with children in schools, care, youth work, or support roles
