Behavioural Support TA

Supply Hive are supporting a special primary school in Slough that caters for children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. The school provides a nurturing, child-centred environment with small classes, supporting pupils to build confidence, manage emotions, and engage positively with learning.
The school also offers targeted support for students at risk of exclusion, using a range of tailored programmes to help children achieve their full potential and feel safe, valued, and supported.
Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and personal care where required
• Supporting learning activities tailored to individual EHCP outcomes
• Working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver consistent, structured support
• Helping to create a calm, nurturing, and predictable environment

Requirements

• Experience working with children with SEMH or challenging behaviour (school, care, or similar setting)
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Ability to support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a wider team
• Right to Work in the UK
