About the Role
Supply Hive are supporting a welcoming primary school in High Wycombe who is seeking a positive and engaging Teaching Assistant to join its friendly staff team full-time in Autumn term 2.
This role is ideal for someone who loves encouraging young learners, particularly within EYFS and KS1.
Responsibilities:
🔵 Encourage and engage pupils through fun, interactive activities.
🔵 Offer tailored support to individuals and small groups.
🔵 Help maintain a positive, calm, and well-structured classroom environment.
🔵 Supporting children with SEN in a 1:1 role.
🔵 Assist with preparing and adapting resources to meet children’s learning needs.
🔵 Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support pupils’ progress.
Requirements:
✅ Previous experience working with children in education or childcare
✅ A caring, patient, and proactive attitude towards supporting learning
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✅ The right to work in the UK
✅ A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
