Learning Support Assistant

Supply Hive is partnering with a friendly and supportive primary school in High Wycombe that is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join their team in the summer term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone enthusiastic about education who enjoys working closely with children and supporting their development in a nurturing school environment. You will play a key role in assisting the teacher with day-to-day classroom activities and helping pupils reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

🟢Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects within the classroom.
🟢 Preparing classroom materials and ensuring resources are ready for engaging lessons.
🟢 Working alongside individuals and small groups to provide additional guidance and encouragement.
🟢 Promoting positive behaviour and helping maintain a calm, focused learning atmosphere.
🟢 Assisting with tracking pupil development and sharing feedback with the class teacher.
🟢 Helping create an inclusive and stimulating environment where every child feels supported.

Requirements:

✔ Experience in a primary school setting is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
✔ Excellent communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork.
✔ A proactive, dependable individual who can take initiative when required.
✔ An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.
