Pastoral LSA

If you’re someone who’s patient, empathetic and good at building trust — this role could suit you. Supply Hive are workign wih a provison who's ethos is all about understanding barriers to learning, and helping young people re-engage with education through support tailored to them. 

You’d be doing things like:

• Giving 1:1 or small-group pastoral support, helping learners with SEMH, SEND or other barriers to feel safe, valued and ready to engage. 
• Working closely with the team to plan support that helps each young person, recognising that “one-size-fits-all” doesn’t work — we believe in a trauma-informed, nurturing space. 
• Helping learners transition towards work, independence or further education — offering encouragement, confidence-building, patience. 

We’re after someone who:

• Has empathy, understanding and patience — ready to support young people who’ve struggled elsewhere
• Is flexible, open-minded and committed to inclusive, person-centred support
• Wants to be part of a supportive environment where every learner gets a chance to succeed
