About the Role
Supply Hive is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialist school in Maidenhead that supports children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition. The school provides a structured, nurturing, and highly supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop independence, communication skills, and confidence while accessing a personalised curriculum.
With small class sizes, excellent facilities, and a strong focus on collaboration between education and therapy teams, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with additional needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils, whilst creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Responsibilities
At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority. All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, and safeguarding procedures in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
All applicants must hold the appropriate qualifications and training for this role and have the Right to Work in the UK. Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and communication development
- Create a structured and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and achievement
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and therapy professionals to ensure pupils receive holistic support
- Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and reporting
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs is desirable
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
