About the Role
Supply Hive is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Slough that is seeking several dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD and non-verbal communication.
The school is committed to delivering personalised support within a caring, structured setting where children are encouraged to feel safe, confident, and understood.
Responsibilities:
🟣 Providing 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEND
🟣Supporting communication, sensory needs, and personal care when required
🟣Assisting with learning activities aligned to individual EHCP targets
🟣Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
🟣Helping to maintain a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
✔ Experience supporting children or young people with additional or complex needs (in education, care, or a similar setting)
✔A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach
✔Confidence supporting a range of needs, including personal care
✔The Right to Work in the UK
✔A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
At Supply Hive, safeguarding is central to everything we do. All successful applicants will be required to complete enhanced DBS checks and follow strict safeguarding procedures. Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
