About the Role
Supply Hive is supporting a welcoming primary school in Maidenhead to find an experienced Year 5 Teacher starting in January 2026 until the end of the academic year in July 2026.
This welcoming school is well-established within the local community and is a two-form entry primary school.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 5.
🔹 Assess and track pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support learning.
🔹 Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
🔹 Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
🔹 Contribute to wider school life, including assemblies, enrichment activities, and team meetings.
🔹 Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
Requirements:
✅ Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2.
✅ Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
✅ Available for the duration of the placement.
✅ DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
