Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN in a mainstream classroom environment
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver tailored interventions
- Assisting with the development of individual education plans
- Encouraging and promoting independent learning
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Helping to create an inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with children/ adults with SEN (experience in a school setting preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
