We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 1 to join a friendly school near Slough. This full-time role provides the chance to offer personalised, 1:1 support to a student, helping them receive the guidance and motivation needed to thrive.
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting a pupil with various needs, such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Working alongside teachers and staff, you'll deliver customised interventions, foster positive behaviour, and help the pupil achieve their individual goals in a nurturing and structured setting.
Responsibilities:
🔵Provide personalised support to students, both 1:1 and in small groups, to support their academic development.
🔵Collaborate with the teacher to design and deliver engaging, interactive lessons.
🔵Modify and create learning resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
🔵Build strong, positive relationships with students to encourage their growth.
🔵Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback to the teaching team for effective lesson planning.
Requirements:
✅A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
✅Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not required.
✅Strong communication abilities with a team-oriented and proactive approach.
✅Eagerness to engage in continuous professional development opportunities.
