We’re working with a fantastic Special School in Slough that supports pupils aged 2–19 with a range of needs including moderate and severe learning difficulties, Autism, and more complex needs. This role is based in the Secondary phase, where students are supported with both academic learning and developing key life skills in a nurturing, well-resourced environment.
This is a full-time, long-term position offering consistency and the chance to become a valued member of a dedicated team. You’ll be working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to help students access learning, manage their behaviour, and build confidence for the future.
Responsibilities include:
📚 Supporting students with a range of learning needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
👥 Assisting teachers with adapting lessons and resources
🤝 Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
🧩 Providing support with personal care where needed (training provided)
🎯 Helping students achieve their individual EHCP outcomes
We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN
✅ Is calm, patient, and genuinely wants to make a difference
✅ Can build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
✅ Is happy to assist with personal care if required
✅ Holds or is willing to apply for an enhanced DBS

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
