Teaching Assistant for Sensory Room – Reading (Central) – Full Time

About the Role
As a Sensory Room Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) who benefit from sensory integration activities. Your work will help to create a calm and engaging environment that enhances students’ learning and emotional well-being. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
Responsibilities
🌟 Facilitate sensory activities to support students’ development.
🌟 Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to implement personalised support plans.
🌟 Maintain a safe, organised, and engaging sensory room.
🌟 Provide emotional and behavioural support to students.
Requirements
✅ Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN.
✅ Knowledge of sensory integration techniques or a willingness to learn.
✅ Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.
✅ A proactive attitude and a passion for supporting children’s development.

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
