Supply Hive is working with a fantastic SEN school in that supports children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, PMLD and communication difficulties. The school provides a nurturing, well-resourced environment where pupils are supported by a skilled multi-disciplinary team. They are looking to welcome a Class Teacher to join them in September. 
You’ll be joining a team that genuinely puts the well being and development of every child at the heart of what they do. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a setting that values collaboration, reflection, and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities include:
🧠 Planning and delivering creative, personalised lessons that meet a range of learning needs
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Working closely with TAs, therapists, and families to support holistic development
📈 Monitoring progress and adapting approaches to ensure every child can thrive
🔄 Using specialist strategies (e.g., SCERTS, PECS, TEACCH) to support communication and behaviour
🔒 Upholding high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and positive behaviour support

We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience in SEN settings (or a strong interest in SEN)
💬 Can build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
🌟 Is enthusiastic, reflective, and always looking to grow their practice
🧩 Understands how to adapt teaching for pupils with autism, PMLD, SLCN or complex needs
📅 Can commit to a long-term role and become part of a consistent team

If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to your MPS.
