A warm and welcoming primary school on the outskirts of Maidenhead is searching for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is known for its positive and nurturing atmosphere, where every child is encouraged to grow and succeed in a vibrant learning environment. Start date: ASAP
In this role, you'll collaborate with teachers to enhance students' learning, providing one-to-one and small group support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on the development and achievements of young learners.
Key responsibilities:
🟣 Provide individualised or small group assistance to students, helping to enhance their learning experience.
🟣 Collaborate with the teacher to design and deliver dynamic, hands-on lessons.
🟣 Modify and create learning resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
🟣 Build strong, supportive connections with students, encouraging their confidence and participation.
🟣 Monitor student progress and share insightful feedback with the teaching staff.
Requirements:
🔵 A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's growth and education.
🔵 Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, though not required.
🔵 Strong communication abilities, paired with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
🔵 Appropriate qualifications or a keen interest in ongoing professional learning and development.
