A welcoming two-form entry primary school near High Wycombe is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team in September.
In this role, you’ll work alongside the class teacher to support Key Stage 2 pupils in building confidence, independence, and a love of learning. You’ll help deliver engaging lessons and provide tailored support to ensure every child can thrive.
Responsibilities:
🔵 Work closely with the teacher to keep lessons and activities running smoothly
🔵 Support small groups and individuals with targeted learning interventions
🔵Provide encouragement and guidance to pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN
🔵 Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, focused classroom environment
🔵 Assist with preparing and organising resources to enhance learning
Requirements:
✅Previous experience supporting children in a primary school (KS2 experience desirable)
✅ A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to working with children
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✅ An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
