About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Maidenhead working across EYFS and KS1.
The role will be supporting children across Reception and Key Stage 1, fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that helps young learners build confidence and develop essential early skills.
Responsibilities:
🟢Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver fun, purposeful activities that support learning.
🟢Help prepare classroom resources, learning materials, and engaging displays.
🟢Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, including children with additional needs.
🟢Encourage positive behaviour and uphold high standards of care and learning.
🟢Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, fostering independence and self-confidence.
🟢Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, sharing feedback on progress and well-being.
Requirements:
✔️ A level 2 or level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred but not essential.
✔️ Previous experience working with children in an EYFS or Reception environment.
✔️ Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
✔️ An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
