About the Role
Supply Hive are working with a specialist alternative provision in High Wycombe that supports young people who need a different approach to education. The setting is small, calm, and highly relationship-led, with a strong focus on emotional regulation, consistency, and re-engaging pupils who have struggled in mainstream settings.
This is a great opportunity for an LSA who enjoys building meaningful connections and being a steady, trusted adult for young people with SEMH and additional needs. The provision values patience, understanding, and teamwork, and offers a genuinely supportive working environment.

- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping young people regulate emotions and remain engaged
- Supporting learning across reading, numeracy, and functional skills
- Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
- Has experience supporting young people (SEN, SEMH or AP experience ideal)
- Is calm, resilient, and relationship-focused
- Can engage pupils who may be reluctant learners
- Understands that behaviour is communication
- Is reliable, consistent, and genuinely cares about making a difference
