About the Role
We’re working with a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Slough who are looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to join their team after the Easter break. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH and complex learning needs, and they are looking for someone who can bring energy, patience and creativity to the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where staff wellbeing and development are genuinely valued. The role will involve planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and creating a positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
Responsibilities ✏️
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets
• Create a safe, supportive and structured classroom environment
• Work closely with TAs, therapists and the wider school team
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff
Requirements ✅
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with additional needs (SEN/SEMH/Autism)
• A patient, nurturing and flexible approach
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority and all applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS and compliance checks. If you carry out a long-term Class Teacher role with Supply Hive, you will be paid to scale (MPS). All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
