About the Role
Supply Hive are working with a supportive Alternative Provision in High Wycombe that are looking for a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The setting supports students who may have been disengaged from mainstream education, with a strong focus on building relationships, trust, and positive outcomes. This is a really rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact on young people who need it most.
In this role, you’ll be supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, helping them to re-engage with learning both inside and outside the classroom. No two days are the same, so being adaptable, calm, and proactive is key.

Responsibilities
- 💬 Build strong, positive relationships with students
- 📚 Support learning across a range of subjects and activities
- 🧠 Assist students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- 🚶 Support with structured routines and transitions throughout the day
- 🤝 Work closely with teachers and wider staff to support student progress
- ✅ Experience working with children or young people (ideally SEN or SEMH)
- 💪 Resilient, patient, and confident managing behaviour
- 🗣️ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- 🎯 Passion for supporting young people to succeed
- 📍 Able to commute to High Wycombe
