A welcoming and supportive school in Reading is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role:

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning support
• Helping pupils with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech & language, and SEMH
• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in the classroom
• Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Relevant qualifications or training are beneficial but not essential
