SEN Teaching Assistant

Supply Hive are working closely with a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Maidenhead who are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs and places a huge emphasis on relationships, consistency, and creating a safe space for children to thrive.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children with additional needs and understands the importance of patience, structure, and encouragement in the classroom.

Responsibilities 💛

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Helping pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and routines
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
• Creating a calm, supportive learning environment

Requirements ✅

• Experience working with children with SEND (school-based or similar)
• A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
• Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional needs
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• Right to Work in the UK
