About the Role
Supply Hive are working alongside a lovely special school looking for SENTAs to satrt ASAP. The school is built around an atmosphere of playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy, where pupils are supported to feel safe, valued and understood every day. Learning is shaped around each individual child, with a strong focus on holistic development, celebrating difference and helping pupils make meaningful progress both in and beyond the classroom.
The school supports children and young people aged 2–19 with a range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, autism and additional physical or sensory needs. Staff work closely as a team to create a calm, nurturing and highly structured environment where relationships come first and every small step forward is celebrated.
The Role
As a SENTA, you’ll play a key part in supporting pupils throughout the school day, working closely with teachers and wider professionals to help students access learning, develop communication skills and build independence. This is a hands-on, rewarding role suited to someone who is patient, proactive and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual EHCPs
- Supporting learning, communication and sensory needs within the classroom
- Assisting with personalised targets and structured routines
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and feel secure within the school environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
- Experience supporting children or young people (SEN experience ideal but not essential)
- A calm, caring and resilient approach
- Confidence working with pupils with complex needs
- A team-player who’s happy to get involved and learn on the job
- Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
