About the Role

Supply Hive are working alongside a specialist setting in Maidenhead championed for using a therapeutic, highly individualised approach to learning for pupils with autism. Staff work closely with pupils, families and a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive, motivating environment where every young person can make meaningful progress. The curriculum blends evidence-based therapies with personalised learning designed to help pupils develop life skills, communication and independence.

The Role
As a SENTA, you’ll be an important part of a team that helps pupils access learning, build confidence and work towards personalised targets. You’ll provide practical, hands-on support throughout the school day — from classroom tasks to social understanding and communication. This role is ideal for someone who’s patient, adaptable and loves building relationships with young people.

Responsibilities
  • Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to support engagement and access to learning
  • Help implement individual programmes and therapeutic strategies
  • Support progress towards personalised goals and EHCP outcomes
  • Assist with structured activities and routines across the school day
  • Encourage communication, independence and positive behaviour
What We’re Looking For
  • A kind, resilient and reliable team member passionate about supporting pupils with autism
  • Experience working with children or young people (experience in SEN or autism a plus)
  • Good communication skills and a positive, reflective approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
  • Commitment to contributing to a supportive and inclusive school culture
This setting is all about personalised support, clear structure and helping each child thrive — you’ll be joining a caring team who value professional growth and celebrate every achievement, big or small.

At Supply Hive, safeguarding and child welfare are at the heart of everything we do. All candidates undergo enhanced DBS checks and thorough safeguarding procedures before starting. We provide full assistance throughout the process.
