Teaching assistant

We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly and supportive school in Reading.
This is a great opportunity to support pupils in the classroom, helping them develop confidence and progress in their learning while working closely with the class teacher.

The Role

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Helping pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons
• Supporting children with different learning needs
• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children (school experience desirable)
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
