About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and energetic Teaching Assistant to become part of our warm and dynamic Reception team at a wonderful primary school close to High Wycombe. This role offers a wonderful chance for anyone passionate about early years education to make a meaningful impact!
We’re looking for someone who helps create a friendly and encouraging space where every child feels appreciated and excited to learn.
Responsibilities:
🔵Support and engage children with enjoyable, hands-on activities throughout the day
🔵Provide focused assistance to individual pupils and small groups
🔵Help create a positive and welcoming classroom atmosphere
🔵Prepare educational resources and monitor children’s progress
🔵Work effectively with staff and parents to nurture each child’s growth
Requirements:
☑️Experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings
☑️A patient, caring approach with a willingness to be actively involved
☑️Excellent teamwork and communication skills
☑️Right to work in the UK
☑️A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one
