About the Role
Supply Hive is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Maidenhead that is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil with ADHD.
If you’re patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting individual learning needs, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
🟣 Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with ADHD
🟣Supporting communication, sensory needs, and personal care when required
🟣Assisting with learning activities aligned to individual EHCP targets
🟣Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
🟣Helping to maintain a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
✔ Experience supporting children or young people with additional or complex needs (in education, care, or a similar setting)
✔A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach
✔Confidence supporting a range of needs, including personal care
✔The Right to Work in the UK
✔A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
At Supply Hive, safeguarding is central to everything we do. All successful applicants will be required to complete enhanced DBS checks and follow strict safeguarding procedures. Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
