About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join the Reception team at a welcoming and supportive primary school in Maidenhead.
The role involves supporting the class teacher to ensure the children benefit from a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
🔵Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver fun, purposeful activities that support learning.
🔵Help prepare classroom resources, learning materials, and engaging displays.
🔵Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, including children with additional needs.
🔵Encourage positive behaviour and uphold high standards of care and learning.
🔵Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, fostering independence and self-confidence.
🔵Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, sharing feedback on progress and well-being.
Requirements:
✅A level 2 or level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred but not essential
✅Previous experience working with children in an EYFS or Reception environment.
✅Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
✅An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
