About the Role
Supply Hive is working with a Maidenhead primary school who are currently looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to support their Upper Key Stage 2 pupils.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping lessons engaging, energetic, and interactive. Experience in behaviour management is highly desirable and will be beneficial in supporting the pupils effectively.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups across core subjects.
🔹 Lead and assist with active, practical, and sports-based classroom activities.
🔹 Encourage teamwork, confidence, and independence through engaging tasks and challenges.
🔹 Help children with additional needs access learning in an inclusive and supportive way.
🔹 Assist with classroom management and create a positive, lively learning environment.
🔹 Track pupil progress and communicate updates with teachers to guide next steps.
Requirements:
✅ Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally KS2.
✅ Strong communication skills.
✅ DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
✅ Right to work in the UK.
